» Health Education:
Our goal is to teach the public from young to old, how to care for and protect your health. We do this through teaching sessions, marketing healthy lifestyles through the media, and involvement with and promotion of health-oriented community events.

  • Dental Health:
Our Public Health dental hygiene consultant makes a large number of presentations to over students, faculty and parents in our schools and pre-school districts. Tooth brushes, toothpaste and dental floss samples are distributed at the educational sessions. Some of the educational highlights include healthy nutrition and dangers of smokeless tobacco, as well as teaching proper ways to brush and floss.
  • Health Education:
One of the Ten Essential Public Health Functions is to "inform, educate, and empower people about health issues." Our Health Educator offers presentations to school classes, parent groups, and senior citizens groups on a variety of subjects such as hand washing, tobacco cessation, nutrition, poison control, STD's, and puberty. Our LPN writes a weekly column in the local newspaper on current health topics. We are actively involved in many Health Fairs around the county as well.

We are open weekdays from 8:30AM through 4:30PM. Call (315) 376-5453 or come by to see us!
