TESTIMONIALS:
◊
I am the patient’s daughter –
the nurse has always been wonderful. She called on her own time off and
did everything possible to make my dad’s recovery possible.
◊
I have no family here in Lewis
Co. The nurse took such genuine interest in me and my problems.
She arranged a doctor's appointment for me which resulted in a
discontinuation of a medication which resulted in a positive result.
She checked my progress and gave me hope. I am grateful for the
public health and aide program in Lewis Co.
◊
Dear friends, I want to thank
you all for the wonderful care you gave me while I was regaining my
strength. I miss seeing you all. Your help is deeply appreciated. Everyone
was wonderful to me and I deeply appreciate their help and kindness.
◊
I was very satisfied with the
visiting nurse. She was courteous and made sure I understood what
was going on. If she didn't have the answers to my questions, she
found out for me and called me back with the answer.
◊
This service is so helpful
after surgery to understand what to do to speed a recovery. The nurse
relieves anxiety about the wound and medication. Explains the need for
exercise and keeping records of weight, BP, and temp.
◊
The therapist was WONDERFUL!
Not only did she treat me physically, she was psychologically and
emotionally supportive each and every time she came to my home!
◊
The therapist’s visit made my
day. Am almost ready to shed my cane and drive my car. Thank you.
◊
A very pleasant and
knowledgeable young lady. I looked forward to her visit!
◊
The exercises are simple and
repetitive. Easy to understand and do at my own pace. I recommend it for
anyone.
◊
My nurse couldn’t have shown
more concern for my well-being! I’m delighted to be recovered but I’ll
miss her visits!! In addition: I am very impressed by the professionalism
demonstrated by all of the public health personnel in Lewis County. This
was the second time I was in ph’s care and each time it was excellent.
◊
The survey questions cannot
adequately express the qualities the nurse brings to her work. She
is highly qualified, has wide experience and training, all tempered with
common sense and a good work ethic. Lewis County is blessed and
privileged to send this nurse to us patients in need of care and
compassion. I can't imagine this recovery would have gone as
smoothly without her!
◊
The therapist went above and
beyond her duties. On 2 occasions she mailed letters for me (an important
extra when your homebound).
◊
It probably was a difficult
situation for the nurse to provide home care to a critical care nurse whom
she has known for many years. But it was amazing to me how well she knew
what things I needed to know, that my nursing did not teach me in in how
to be a patient. Several times I said, “I never thought of that”. She was
a big part of my support system the first few weeks I was home. She did a
great job.
◊
I had three different nurses
during my home care visits. All were very kind, very patient and I
was pleased with every visit. What a wonderful program.
◊
I could not have gotten along
without the Public Health nurse and I am legally blind and could not dress
myself - I am so thankful for the nurses and that they were only a
telephone call away when I needed their help or advice. Thank you -
May God bless everyone!
